Chronicles of an Artist by Scott Myers
Page 2 of my comic, check it out on www.laserromance.com your video game blog!
This is a snapshot from an in-progress comic for school. It involves roller derby! So err..yeah don’t know a lot about roller derby but the comic is due this Thursday. The original concept was pinup inspired but now I am just trying to get the thing done. The glass in this panel has no meaning in the story, it’s just to heighten the emotional drama and because I needed to fill up the panel and wanted to draw broken glass dammit!! Stop judging me…

Wow, I just finished week 7 of 10 here in Savannah! 3 more weeks and my first quarter back here at Scad is finished. And I am just now touching my Tumblr! Well I have my camera back from Atlanta and will endeavor to post at least daily(prepare for Halloween Pix! :D). It has been quite a whirlwind and I wish I had time to write more about it right now. However, I have to get to work on my ‘job’ job and make some money (in a minute). Speaking of I’m not even sure how I am going to get the mullah or even loans to finish my last installment payment for SCAD. I have gone ahead and registered for winter quarter which starts up in January assuming I can get my SCAD scholarships. My grades are pretty decent now and hopefully I’ll bump my GPA up enough this quarter to get my scholarship back next year. If not, then I’m going to have to be creative about funding my education, and maybe possibly change direction. I am learning a lot though, and this has been a very motivating move down here. I definitely feel more determined to be successful and accomplish my goals, so that’s really good. After this quarter I have some solid decision making to do. The crux of my decision is that I have a pretty decent job already but I really can’t make money at it while I am in school full time. But if I am not in school or working on art then I am not really doing what I am passionate about. Hm-mm, I guess I will just see where God leads me.
